Event & Festival Insurance Program

SteelBridge Insurance Services, in conjunction with the International Bluegrass Music Association, is pleased to offer an Event, Concert and Festival Insurance program just for IBMA membersThis program was designed to meet the unique needs of event and festival producers and contemplate various coverage needs while being affordable and easy to purchase.

Note that we also have options available for annual policies and/or for nonprofit associations.

Basic Coverage

Program includes coverage for:

  • Limits are Per Event
  • Blanket Additional Insureds
  • Host Liquor Liability (includes sales of alcohol if no permit is required)
  • Hired & Non Owned Auto Liability
  • Volunteers as Insureds for General Liability
  • No Exclusion for Collapse of Temporary Structures or Stages
  • Medical Payments Coverage extends to Volunteers
Warning: some or all of the above are often excluded on other event policies

  • Higher Limits of Liability
  • Umbrella / Excess Liability
  • Full Liquor Liability
  • Medical Payments up to a $20,000 Limit
  • Leased & Rented Equipment Coverage
  • Coverage for vendors and exhibitors (additional application required)
  • Events of any size can be included however, events with over 20,000 in attendence may require a bit more information to be underwritten

  • Total Attendees = the total number of of people in attendance per day added up for each day of the event (i.e. estimate the total number of attendees per day of the event and total the numbers)
  • Premium provides coverage for up to 10 consecutive days in addition to set up and tear down
  • Premiums are 100% earned and non-refundable upon payment and issuance of the Proof of Coverage and any requested Certificates of Insurance unless a request is made in writing at least 30 days prior to the event
